Here I am, blogging again.

Not that there are interesting things to blog about. But here are some of my resolutions for the next 4 years or more.

1. To acheive success in piano playing.
2. To spend more time in music
3. To successfully play a piano concerto, Beethoven's 5th!

I seriously can't be bothered with those recruiting agents with some job offers anymore. Many times they called, but most of time they failed to follow up with the job which they offer me. 3 months to Melbourne, and so I decided to dedicate my time to piano practising. It's really my first time practising up to 5 hours each day (even though Congyu claimed that he practises 12 hours each day). I guess I have a mountain to climb if I ever been able to play like a virtuoso pianist.

So this is what my practise schedule is for the next 3 months on weekdays:

Morning:

Scales, Technical exercises, Arppegios, Liszt Techinical exercise is useful for advanced pianist! Trust me!

Afternoon:

Repertoire(S)
Brahms Rhapsody in B minor etc.

On a side note, I did manage to put together the 1st movement of Beethoven's Waldstein Sonata op. 53. I probably think that I am crazy to perform it in Ms Sylvia's performance class just after just 1 month of learning the piece. Not that it's that bad, but there are some breakdowns here and there but manage to play it to the end. It's a sense of achievement for me, because I have never dreamt that I can put in a performance of Beethoven's Waldstein Sonata 2 years ago and learning the notes in 1 month time. I guess, I wont ever get to play that if I am still a student of Mr Ku. Not that it's a great performance but it's a small step.

I got a long way to go.

I shall now try something simpler and temporary put the Waldstein Sonata a side. ;)

Till next time!

You who dwell in the shelter of the Lord
who abide in his shadow for life
Say to the Lord, "My refuge,
my rock in whom I trust!"

And He will raise you up
On Eagle's wings
bear you on the breath of dawn,
make you to shine like the sun
and hold you in the palm of his hand

The snare of the fowler will never capture you
and famine will bring you no fear
Under his wings your refuge,
His faithfulness your shield

And He will raise you up
On Eagle's wings
bear you on the breath of dawn,
make you to shine like the sun
and hold you in the palm of his hand

You need not fear the terror of the night,
nor the arrow that flies by day,
though thousands fall about you,
Near you it shall not come.
And He will raise you up
On Eagle's wings
bear you on the breath of dawn,
make you to shine like the sun
and hold you in the palm of his hand

For to his angels he's given a command
to guard you in all of your ways;
up on their hands they will bear you up,
lest you dash your foot against a stone
And He will raise you up
On Eagle's wings
bear you on the breath of dawn,
make you to shine like the sun
and hold you in the palm of his hand
