Hm... Went to OLPS for the first time after many many years. (didnt see the newly renovated OLPS.. err.. not new.. but i have not seen the renovation.)

Just some of my thoughts upon visiting the church:
attended Novena and 4.45pm mass...

1. Too many aged people. Maybe I go at the wrong timing. Irony when OLPS has the most active youth group.

2. Fr Paul Goh is a stern priest. He demands the annoucement to be made again (when he couldnt hear the annoucement for the first time due to the music played by the organist.. and guess what he did.. he stares at the choir area.. probably at the organist.. the music stopped.) .

And I notice.. or guess that most Church choir in Singapore will sing "Here I am" in mass this Sunday... coz it tallies with the first reading. OLPS sing that for final hymn and Holy Trinity is going to sing it for 1st Communion Hymn. hmm.. if any other churches that doesnt sing this song in this weekend masses.. please let me know ok?

Met Shaun? and Kenji at OLPS.. not so close to them though.. except for Shaun? (i think his name is Shaun... but still not very close.. got to know him after a game of Chinese chess which I won). haha. obviously they didnt go for amplify prayer meet.

Anyway, the deacon? that serve the novena made a touching homily in Novena today. Well.. I shall try to duplicate and summarised the story.

A woman named A has been trying to search for her natural parents. She prayed to Our Lady in the Novena service faithfully for her to find her natural parents. In the end, her prayers are answered.

She went to Malaysia, found her parents. Her parents also told her that they have been praying to Our Lady during Novenas in Malaysia for about a year. Now, the entire family is reunited, through the intercession of Our Lady.

This family is broken up during the second world war. Her natural parents pass her to another family for them to look after. After the war, her natural parents went to her foster parents house to claim her back, but the foster parents (with A) shifted to another place and couldnt locate her since then.

Isnt the story touching???

Ah well. This is my 30th post. :D
